To keep up with our continued growth, we are seeking a practical and adaptable Paediatric Occupational Therapist to provide holistic occupational therapy services for a wide range of child and youth clients.

The role

  • Help children and their families with a range of developmental, psychosocial, mental health, academic and functional self-care difficulties
  • Deliver occupational therapy services through developing and delivering centre-based and outreach services
  • Deliver strategies and programs for children and youth on an individual and small group basis.
  • Provide consultative support through telephone and web consultation and family meetings
  • Complete assessments, observations and progress reports

What we’re looking for

  • Relevant degree qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration & mental health endorsement;
  • Substantial experience in the delivery of occupational therapy services to children and youth;
  • Experience in the design and implementation of consultation based intervention;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with families and young people with ASD or other disabilities;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and to build effective relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of indigenous and cross-cultural barriers is advantageous;
  • Current and valid: driver’s licence, Blue Card and Yellow Card.
