To keep up with our continued growth, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Health Administration Specialist to lead health service delivery in their allocated region including providing strategic input to health services across the business.

The role

  • Providing reception services to facilitate the professional and timely management of both internal and external customer inquiries via telephone, face to face or written communication
  • Providing general administrative support to ensure appropriate management of referrals and waiting lists
  • Ensuring quality data management through the correct use of information systems and patient records.
  • Facilitating communication between patients and clinical staff (including face to face, written and multi-line telephone communications).
  • Attending to telephone enquiries and enquiries from patients, general public, external agencies and clinical staff.
  • Arranging meeting venues, distributing agenda and taking record minutes for designated meetings

What we’re looking for

  • An exceptional customer service specialist with highly developed communication skills
  • An experienced administrator who can handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Must be familiar with Health Practice Management Software and possess excellent computer skills
  • Be flexible, positive and have a can-do attitude
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of Health Administration - including experience in Medicare and billing of clients;
  • Excellent diary management and organisational skills.
